Alliance names general manager

The Alaska Support Industry Alliance board of directors has named Larry Houle as general manager. Houle will oversee daily operations and serve as a registered lobbyist on behalf of the Alliance.

The Alliance, formed in 1979, is a non-profit trade organization representing more than 350 businesses, organizations and individuals who provide products and services in support of the Alaska oil and gas industry.

Houle has held executive marketing and operations positions within Alaska communications, transportation and real estate companies. Most recently he has served two and a half years as executive director of the Municipality of Anchorage's Heritage Land Bank.
