Klepzig named Nabors drilling superintendent

Nabors Alaska Drilling has promoted Rodney Klepzig to the position of drilling superintendent, the company said in mid-May.

Klepzig has worked in the oil industry for 27 years; 25 of those with Nabors. Most recently he was a tool pusher on Rig 22E, which has been drilling in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska for BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc.

Klepzig’s duties as drilling superintendent include safety initiatives for rig crews, rig site inspections, policy implementation and customer liaison.
