CORRECTION: Canadian LNG projects in Kitimat area
Petroleum News
In the July 21 issue of Petroleum News it was incorrectly reported that the liquefaction plant and loading terminal for the sanctioned Shell-led LNG Canada project are destined for Prince Rupert. In fact, they will be built in the Kitimat area, with feedstock gas to be shipped through TC Energy’s Coastal GasLink pipeline from northeastern British Columbia. The Kitimat LNG project’s liquefaction plant and shipping terminal are also under construction near Kitimat. They will be connected to northeastern B.C. gas fields by the Pacific Trail pipeline.
