Oil Patch Bits: Bella represents AECOM at foreign business exchange
AECOM is proud to announce that Senior Ecologist and Alaska Planning Practice Manager Dr. Elizabeth Bella attended the Liaocheng Foreign Business Exchange, which brings together more than 150 foreign experts in various professional disciplines for collaboration. Experts are paired with translators from Liaocheng University’s English teaching program and meet with local businesses to discuss particular problems, solutions and ideas.
Bella was paired with officials from the Liaocheng Wetland Park, drawing on her ecology and wetlands expertise. “Representing AECOM was an exciting opportunity, as was gaining perspective in making connections with local businesses,” said Bella. “Having the ability to interact with global conference participants was a fulfilling experience.”
Bella has more than 15 years of applied ecology and regulatory experience with public lands agencies and private industry. As planning group manager and senior ecologist, she has worked with numerous tribal, state, non-profit, agency and community partners on a variety of natural resource topics, including climate resiliency planning and adaptive management. Bella joined AECOM in 2015.
