PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: Mat company opens new headquarters

Composite Mat Solutions has opened its new headquarters, a plastics molding facility in Carencro, Louisiana. The CMS facility will be used to develop, manufacture and market thermoplastic mat systems for roadways, work pads, and site access.

Among the company’s products is the interlocking Dura-Base Composite Mat System used extensively in Alaska and elsewhere. The company recently added a new portable mat with self-contained fasteners called the Bravo Mat System.

Composite Mat Solutions is a subsidiary of Newpark Resources Inc., which provides products and services for the oil and gas industry. Newpark was established in 1939 and has more than 1,400 employees worldwide.

CMS can be reached at 1-877-MAT-ROAD, which translates to 1-877-628-7623.
