Coalbed methane meeting set

Alaska Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Tom Irwin, Director of the Division of Oil and Gas Mark Myers and other state officials will discuss coalbed methane development in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough at a public meeting Oct. 13.

The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at Tanaina Elementary School, 2250 Lucille Street in Wasilla.

The officials will discuss the department's decision-making process, issues of concern and how the public can participate.
