Pride’s gets new rig contracts

Pride International said May 12 that it has been awarded six new contracts by a division of Petroleos Mexicanos S.A., the state-owned oil company of Mexico.

The award, which increased Pride’s contract by approximately $220 million, increases Pride's rig fleet in Mexico to 16 — 12 jackups, three platform rigs and one semi-submersible.
