AGDC board selects Burns as chair

The new board of the Alaska Gasline Development Corp. met for the first time Oct. 30.

After a short public session the board went into executive session to discuss confidentiality issues.

Members, appointed by the governor in September, are Al Bolea, John Burns, Dave Cruz, Drue Pearce and Dick Rabinow, along with two members of the governor’s cabinet, Susan Bell and Dianne Blumer, respectively the commissioner of Commerce, Community and Economic Development and the commissioner of Labor and Economic development.

The board selected Burns, a former attorney general for the State of Alaska, as chair.
