Oilfield Transport acquires company

Paula Easley, Petroleum News contributing writer

Anchorage, Alaska-based Oilfield Transport Inc. has acquired family-owned Ace Transport Inc.

Henry Minich, senior vice president of OTI and former owner of Ace, said, “This makes OTI a heavy transportation company which can mobilize all necessary oilfield equipment on and off the highway system. We can now move loads as heavy as 85 tons and up to 85 feet in length on the highway.”

OTI provides statewide hauling and mobilization services, including the North Slope.
