Airline steps up flights

Alaska Airlines will add three more flights per week between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay starting May 22, the airline said.

The Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evening northbound flights stop in Fairbanks; the return is nonstop to Anchorage, the airline said. Alaska Airlines credited increased activity in North Slope oil fields for the expanded service.
