Alaska North Slope production averaged 530,208 barrels per day in January, down 2.96 percent from a December average of 546,388 bpd, a drop of 16,180 bpd. With the exception of Lisburne, all major producing centers had a month-over-month drop in production.

Information for January is from the Alaska Department of Revenue’s Tax Division which reports North Slope oil production consolidated by major production centers and provides daily production and monthly averages. More detailed data, including Cook Inlet and individual North Slope fields and pools, is reported by the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission on a month-delay basis.

Prudhoe Bay production as reported by Revenue includes satellite production from Aurora, Borealis, Midnight Sun, Orion, Polaris, Schrader Bluff, Sag River and Ugnu, as well as from the Hilcorp Alaska-operated Milne Point and Northstar fields.

AOGCC data for December shows Milne Point producing an average of 19,684 bpd in that month, down 19.4 percent from a November average of 24,431 bpd, and Northstar producing 11,629 bpd, up 27 percent from a November average of 9,155 bpd.
