New passenger jet service offered to Sakhalin

ITC Sakhalin Express air charter service will connect Anchorage and Yuzhno, the capital city of Sakhalin, with weekly scheduled direct charter flights beginning May 21st.

The Hawker 400-731 executive jet operated by Northwestern Arctic Air Inc. will depart Anchorage on Mondays at 9 a.m., arriving in Yuzhno at 1 p.m. Tuesday (Sakhalin time with date change). Flights depart Yuzhno on Saturdays at 9 a.m., arriving in Anchorage on Friday at 10 p.m.

Westbound flight time is nine hours and the eastbound flight is eight hours, each with one fuel stop in route.
