Centrum Information is offering a two-day conference on Mackenzie Delta oil and gas development strategies Oct. 16-17 in Calgary, Alberta.

Conference Chair Shawn Denstedt said significant natural gas discoveries in the Northwest Territories, as well as pipeline proposals, have increased industry’s interest in the area’s potential.

Presenters will include: aboriginal communities, the aboriginal pipeline group, BP Canada, Chevron Canada Resources, Canadian and Alaska government officials.
