Oil Patch Bits: Aviator Hotel Anchorage announces Alaskan salmon bake

The Aviator Hotel Anchorage, located in historic downtown on the corner of 4th Avenue and C Street, is pleased to announce its annual Alaska salmon bake menu is now in full swing.

For just $25, customers can order the daily special of fresh sockeye salmon with fixins. The specialty menu began May 31 and will continue through Sept. 15.

During the summer season, diners can also order the famous Alaska beer cheese salmon soup in a fresh baked sourdough bread bowl. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If looking for entertainment, patrons can follow the music to Anchorage’s favorite listening room, the Anchorage City Limits Music Cafe. This onsite venue, where guests can find great food and spirits, hosts live music three nights a week, plus special guest artists. Doors open daily at 5 p.m.
