BP-Hilcorp transaction oversight meeting

The oversight committee established by Gov. Mike Dunleavy on the BP-Hilcorp transaction is holding a meeting March 18 from 2-3:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room at the Atwood State Office Building.
Members of the committee are the commissioner or designee of the state departments of Commerce, Community and Economic Development; Environmental Conservation; Fish & Game; Labor & Workforce Development; Law; Natural Resources; and Revenue, plus the governor’s director of policy and communications.
A public notice for the meeting said its purpose is to hear a status report from each committee member on any aspects of the transactions they are adjudicating or monitoring.
Informational documents submitted in advance of the meeting will be available on the Department of Natural Resources’ website, via the red “BP-Hilcorp Sale Information” tab, or at http://dog.dnr.alaska.gov/Information/BPHilcorpSale.
Members of the public may observe the meeting in person or listen in by teleconference.
