CORRECTION: $6 million, not $600,000 in bonding

In a Feb. 23 story, “Bond increases argued,” the amount of bonding the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission wanted from Amaroq Resources, then Aurora Exploration, to take over as operator at Nicolai Creek out of a bankruptcy in 2017, was $6 million or a commitment to plug and abandon wells at Three Mile Creek, which it was not acquiring.

The story incorrectly said the amount was $600,000.
