PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: CMI named Link-Belt crane distributor for Alaska

Construction Machinery Industrial LLC, known as CMI, has become the Link-Belt crane distributor for the entire state of Alaska. CMI’s facilities in Ketchikan, Juneau, Fairbanks, Wasilla and Anchorage will provide sales and customer support for the Link-Belt products.

Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co., based in Lexington, Ky., is a world leader in the design and manufacture of telescopic boom and lattice boom cranes for the construction industry, according to a company news release.

“Link-Belt is very pleased to be represented by CMI in Alaska,” said Brax Snyder, Link-Belt’s manager, worldwide sales. “We look forward to a strong partnership with this outstanding organization that has a proven track record dating back to 1985.”

Ken Gerondale, president of CMI, said that his company is excited to be associated with a manufacturer like Link-Belt.

“Their reputation for quality cranes and superior performance fits with CMI’s ‘value added’ commitment to the industrial, contractor, mining and governmental markets throughout Alaska,” he said.
