Call for new information for 2002 Cook Inlet, Foothills areawide sales

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources Division of Oil and Gas has issued a call for any new information for its areawide Cook Inlet and Foothills oil and gas lease sales.

The division said this is a request for substantial new information which has become available since the issuance of the final best interest finding for the Cook Inlet areawide sale on Jan. 20, 1999, and the North Slope Foothills areawide sale on Feb. 7, 2001.

Information is due to the division by Nov. 19. The division will issue supplements to the best interest findings or decisions of no new information Feb. 6.

The sales are tentatively scheduled for May 8.
