First National changes name

Shareholders of First National Bank of Anchorage voted Sept. 20 to change the companyís name to First National Bank Alaska.

The change was made to reflect the company’s statewide presence, the company said.

The bank was the first national bank to be chartered in Anchorage. It opened in 1922.
