Oil Patch Bits: TOTE names Brynildson SPHR, VP of human resources

TOTE Inc. has named Matt Brynildson, SPHR, vice president of human resources. Brynildson will be responsible for HR leadership including talent acquisition, organizational development, and performance management at the strategic level for the organization’s nine operating companies in its maritime, logistics and services lines of business.

Most recently Brynildson was chief HR officer for Kenworth Truck Co., PACCAR China and PACCAR of Canada where he was responsible for an international team of HR executives. He brings a strong background in leading organizational change.

Brynildson received both his bachelor’s and M.B.A. from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a master’s in labor and industrial relations from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He is a board member with Pacific Northwest HR Strategic Forum and Seattle-King County Workforce Development Council. A member of Pathwise Leadership Development and is also active in community leadership having led campaigns for United Way, Page Ahead and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and also serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Club in Troy, Mich.
