Oil Patch Bits: STEELFAB acquires the Messer MPC200

STEELFAB said its new Messer MPC 2000 is one of the most advanced, heavy-duty, high-precision steel-cutting systems on the planet and is the first of its kind in Alaska. This multi-process steel fabricator can perform jobs that were previously sent out of state for customers in the oil and gas, mining, marine and construction industries.

This bad boy of the steel industry can do bevel edges on a 3.5-inch piece of steel, pierce and edge cut steel, drill and thread large-diameter holes and cut custom shapes with surgical precision for undeniably superior cut quality.

This American-made machine is in Alaska, putting Alaskans to work. Locally owned, STEELFAB continually invests in heavy-grade, high-tech machinery that gives STEELFAB the same capabilities as shops in the Lower 48.

For more information on the MPC 2000, or for a demonstration at the warehouse, please contact Richard Faulkner, president, STEELFAB 907-276-4303 or [email protected].
