U.S. Petroleum acquires additional Cook Inlet acreage from Warren Buck

U.S. Petroleum Corp. of Vancouver, British Columbia, said Aug. 16 that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 100 percent working interest in 520 acres from Warren Z. Buck. U.S. Petroleum said the acreage is on the northeast boundary of the Beluga River unit gas field adjacent to the Marie prospect.

U.S. Petroleum acquired 100 percent working interest in the 1,156-acre Marie prospect from Paul Craig in June. The Marie prospect is on the northwest boundary of the Beluga River unit gas field. U.S. Petroleum also acquired 100 percent working interest in the Hanna prospect, some 7,040 acres adjacent to the Pretty Creek unit gas field, the Lewis River unit gas field and the Ivan River unit gas field, from Craig in June.
