Arctic Directory: Stoel Rives receive high marks from Chambers USA

Stoel Rives, a U.S. business law firm, said June 20 that James E. Torgerson and Joseph J. Perkins Jr. of the firm’s Anchorage office have been selected as leading U.S. lawyers by independent legal research team Chambers and Partners. The Anchorage office also received recognition as being among the best in Alaska in the area of general commercial litigation.

Torgerson, managing partner of the Anchorage office, is a trial attorney whose clients describe him as “an expert litigator.” In their research, Chambers found Torgerson “is widely credited with building the Stoel Rives team into a major player in the Alaska litigation market.”
