Excite.com poll: yes to ANWR drilling

In a June 5 Excite.com news poll 52 percent or 34,989 respondents favored drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, 45 percent or 31,084 voted no, and 3 percent or 1846 answered “not sure.”

The poll asked:

To ease the nation’s energy crisis, President Bush has proposed drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Do you support President Bush’s proposal?
