Bidding starts for spring lease sales

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Oil and Gas said May 17 that bidding has started for the state’s spring 2021 competitive oil and gas lease sales, the Cook Inlet Areawide and the Alaska Peninsula Areawide.

Bidding for the sale is cash bonus and fixed royalty, with the sale conducted by EnergyNet.com LLC, and registration and bid submission on the EnergyNet Government Listings site at www.energynet.com.

The division said assistance accessing sale documents is available by email at [email protected]; EnergyNet offers assistance with bidding at a toll-free number, 1-877-351-4488.

The deadline to submit bids is June 3 at 4 p.m. Alaska Daylight Time and bidding results will be available to the public online at https://dog.dnr.alaska.gov on June 9 at 9 a.m.
