Evergreen Resources names two new directors

Evergreen Resources Inc. of Denver, Colo., said Nov. 18 that it has named two new directors, Robert J. Clark and Andrew D. Lundquist, bringing the company’s board to nine members and increasing the number of independent directors to seven.

Clark is president of Bear Cub Energy LLC, a private gas gathering and processing company. He founded Bear Paw Energy LLC in 1995 and was formerly in senior management positions with SOCO Gas Systems Inc., Snyder Oil Corp. and Ladd Petroleum Corp. Clark is also on the board of Patina Oil and Gas Corp.

Lundquist is founder and president of Washington, D.C.-based The Lundquist Group LLC, a consulting firm providing analytic and strategic advice. In 2001, he was director of the National Energy Policy Development Group and senior advisor to President Bush and Vice President Cheney on energy issues. Lundquist was majority staff director of the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee from 1998 to 2001. He is currently an officer and director of United Energy Corp.
