PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: The Hilton Anchorage introduces a new open-air restaurant

The Hilton Anchorage has opened a new outdoor restaurant and bar at the top of the hotel’s west tower, adjacent to the Top of the World restaurant. Called “The Deck at the Top of the World,” the new restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and serves lunch, dinner and cocktails.

“The Deck offers unparalleled views of Anchorage and a casual Alaskana menu sure to satisfy taste buds,” said Kevin Batters, Hilton Anchorage general manager. “The Deck is a perfect spot to meet friends, entertain visitors and enjoy the long days of summer.”

The hotel has made extensive renovations to the roof area of the west tower, including the installation of glass walls that maximize the views from the comfort of the new deck. The deck can accommodate up to 145 guests.

The Hilton Anchorage is located in downtown Anchorage and, with the new deck, now features four restaurants. The hotel has 605 guestrooms; 18,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space; and 6,000 square feet of conference space.
