ConocoPhillips building has new owner

The four-building ConocoPhillips complex in downtown Anchorage has a new owner. The Stan Johnson Co. said in a Nov. 20 statement that the complex was sold to a partnership of institutional investors.

Stan Johnson Co. represented the owner, a privately held investment and management company. The 677,778-square-foot-complex, built in 1983, is 100 percent leased to ConocoPhillips, and the company will continue to occupy the complex.

“Anchorage’s office market is tight and the sale of this complex provides the new owners with a sound, long-term investment,” said David Clary, Stan Johnson Co. senior director. He said the property “has a long-term lease in place with ConocoPhillips, which is a solid investment-grade rated company.”
