Drilling engineers form Alaska chapter

The American Association of Drilling Engineers has formed an Alaska chapter in Anchorage. The first meeting of the all-volunteer organization was held Jan. 22 in a BP conference room.

At that time 77 people had signed up as members, including engineers from BP, ConocoPhillips and several oilfield service firms. Meetings will be held on third Wednesday of the month.
