State approves Norgasco expansion

State regulators are expanding the service area of a North Slope natural gas utility.

The expansion request came from the Regulatory Commission of Alaska, after it realized that a Norgasco transmission pipeline partially existed outside of the established service area for the North Slope natural gas utility. The expansion is primarily a procedural issue.

Norgasco provides natural gas service in the Deadhorse area.
