May reliability 100 percent

The May reliability factor for the trans-Alaska pipeline — the amount of time the pipeline is operating and available to transport North Slope crude oil — was 100 percent, Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. reported June 5.

The reliability factor for 2001 through May was 99.84 percent.

May throughput was 30,744,000 barrels with a daily average throughput of 992,000 barrels.

2001 throughput through May was 153,923,000 barrels, with a daily average throughput of 1,019,000 barrels.
