Air Logistics lands safety award from governor

Air Logistics of Alaska Inc. is accumulating awards for its 10 years of accident/incident free flight operations.

The Fairbanks-based helicopter operator collected the Governor’s Safety Award of Excellence for 2000 at a March 27 luncheon, a repeat of its 1998 recognition. It also received the Governor’s Special Recognition Award in 1998 and 1999.

In addition to its Fairbanks headquarters, Air Logistics has facilities in Deadhorse, Valdez and Anchorage.
