Petroleum News to carry Far East report

Petroleum News will be publishing a Far East news report three to four times per month starting with the weekly newspaper’s Aug. 15 edition.

The report will focus on oil and gas news from China and eastern Russia, including Sakhalin and Siberia.

It will be written by Petroleum News contributing writer Allen Baker, who has specialized in business and analytical reporting for the last 15 years.

An American of Russian descent, Baker studied both Russian and Chinese and majored in Asian history.
