ASRC Energy Services’ engineering and professional services division said Feb. 20 that it recently was awarded a five-year contract to provide Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. with multi-disciplined engineering services. The proposed work will be for maintenance, operations, and modifications to the Trans Alaska Pipeline System.

“Our engineering group has senior professionals who have extensive engineering and design experience with pump stations and pipelines throughout Alaska including TAPS,” said Frank G. Weiss III, AES vice president and general manager for engineering and professional services. “We look forward to providing Alyeska with quality engineering and design solutions that are safe, fit for purpose, and cost effective.”

AES has been operating since 1985 and employs close to 5,000 people working in more than 30 states. AES is a leading oil and gas service company with headquarters in Anchorage, Alaska and is the largest private employer in the state, with annual revenues of approximately $635 million.
