PETROLEUM DIRECTORY: Company offers drug and alcohol verification services

Petroleum News

A new service is being offered by WorkSafe Inc. that will give federally regulated companies access to prior drug and alcohol verification tests.

Clients will be able to check three years of previous drug test violations, and WorkSafe will verify is the employees received proper education or treatment for any positive results.

The new service will allow companies to get sensitive information to support hiring decisions, according to Steve Mihalik, WorkSafe’s general manager in Alaska. It complies with all the various federal privacy laws.

WorkSafe, a subsidiary of NANA Development Corp. founded in 1989, says it is the largest third-party drug program administrator in Alaska. It has more than 300 collections sites across the United States.

More information is available from the company at www.worksafeinc.com or by calling 907-563-8378.
