MPA elects new officers, directors

At its annual meeting in Billings on Aug. 28, the Montana Petroleum Association elected its new officers and directors for 2014.

Colby Branch of the Billings law firm Crowley Fleck was elected president.

Kent Beers of Oasis Petroleum was elected upstream vice president, and Greg Brown of CHS Inc. was elected downstream vice president.

Mac McDermott of MRC LLC was elected treasurer.

Those four members will also serve on the board of directors along with the following individuals who were also elected to the board on Aug. 28: Bill and Dave Ballard, Ballard Petroleum Holdings LLC; Dexter Busby, Calumet Montana Refining; Brian Carlson, Devon Energy Corp.; Brian Cebull, Nance Resources; Bob Fisher, Augustus Energy Partners LLC; John Fitzpatrick, NorthWestern Energy; Leo Heath, Montana Tech; Jeff Herman, Petro-Hunt LLC; Dan Hickman, Golden Stone Resources; Terry Holzwarth, Sequel Energy LLC; Tim Keating, SM Energy Co.; Pat Kimmet, CHS Laurel Refinery; Jack King, Hancock Enterprises; Dan Larson, Enerplus Resources (USA) Corp.; Dana Leach, Calumet Montana Refining; Monica Mainland, ExxonMobil Billings Refinery; Perry Pearce, ConocoPhillips; Dave Schaenen, DLD Enterprises; Barry Schneider, Denbury Resources Inc.; Keith Tiggelaar, WBI Energy Inc., Dana Warr, Fidelity Exploration and Production; Stephanie Williams, Phillips 66; and Lisa Wynn, XTO Energy.

Officers and directors will serve in their roles for the next year until the MPA meets again in August 2014.
