Bakken Directory 2014: Ebeltoft Sickler attorney Grant attends law course
Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers said July 23 that attorney Nick Grant attended the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation’s Oil and Gas Law “Short Course” held in Houston. The week-long course is one of the most comprehensive continuing education courses available for attorneys, landman, and other professionals who work in the oil and gas industry, and draws attendees from countries such as Nigeria and Brazil. It covers a diverse range of industry-specific topics, including petroleum exploration to drafting joint operating agreements. The short course is taught by law professors who specialize in oil and gas law, as well as by various industry professionals.
The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation is a collaborative educational non-profit organization dedicated to the scholarly and practical study of the law and regulations relating to mining, oil and gas, water, public lands, land use, conservation, environmental protection and other related areas.
Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers consists of nine lawyers serving Bakken-based businesses in North Dakota and Montana. Practice groups provide legal expertise for: corporate due-diligence, merger, acquisition and business sale negotiation and completion, and leasing, purchase or sale of real estate and developer contracts, appearances for planning and zoning and litigation relating to governmental decisions, and environmental claims litigation.
