Alaska North Slope crude broke a downward trend as it edged higher Oct. 21, up 14 cents to close at $63.35 per barrel -- $1.02 below its Oct. 14 close of $64.37 and $4.11 below its Oct. 7 close of $67.46. West Texas Intermediate jumped 30 cents on Oct. 21 to close at $57.82, and Brent jumped 31 cent....
