Marathon to drop Bakken rig count to one by quarter’s end
Marathon Oil plans to drop to one rig in the Bakken by the end of the second quarter, decreasing the number of gross operated wells to be drilled to the 26 to 36 range. The company has reduced its 2015 capital spending to $2.2 billion, down from $2.4 billion with Bakken spending cut to $645 million.....
