Baker Hughes' U.S. rotary drilling rig count was 539 on Aug. 15, unchanged from the previous week. Over the past 16 weeks, only one week had an increase, with the overall count down 45 over the period. The count was down by 47 from 586 a year ago and down three from two weeks ago.
