Bakken Directory 2014: Larson Electronics unveils LED cart system

Larson Electronics Magnalight said May 6 that it has made public the EPL-RPS-1MLED rechargeable, explosion proof LED light cart. Designed to run 11 hours on a single charge, the Class 1 and Class 2 Division 1 LED light can illuminate a work area of more than 5000 feet.

The EPL-RPS-1MLED rechargeable hazardous area LED lighting system is powered by 140 amp hours of battery capacity. A 100 foot cord is included and the rechargeable, explosion-proof lighting system can be charged inside or outside the hazardous area. Housed within an aluminum wheeled cart, this 380 pound LED lighting system is easily maneuvered to different locations. Operators can use the light free from grid or generator power, while avoiding cord trip hazards. Customization, including stainless steel carts, larger tires, and elevated lighting options are available.
