Nationwide rig count at 859, down from 1,128 a year ago

For the 18th week in the last 21, the number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the United States has declined.
This week’s total, 859, is 10 lower than the previous week.
Of the rigs running nationwide, 714 were exploring for gas, 144 were looking for oil and one was listed as....
