Alaska gasoline prices steady while Lower 48 declines

While gasoline prices are on the decline in the Lower 48, prices in Alaska are holding steady, according to the Alaska office of the American Automobile Association.
Self-serve regular pumps in Alaska averaged $1.63 a gallon as of May 12, up a half-cent from mid-April.
