Hess 3Q Bakken output up, costs below average

In Hess Corp.’s third quarter 2012 earnings conference call on Nov. 2, Chairman and CEO John Hess said the company’s net Bakken production averaged 62,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the third quarter, up from the 32,000 boe per day in the third quarter of 2011, an increase of 94 percent.
