Legal issues arise at Unocal, Ocean Energy Pioneer unit drill sites

Matanuska-Susitna Borough landowners told a Division of Oil and Gas hearing Aug. 24 that they wished Unocal and Ocean Energy Inc. were not developing coalbed gas under their property.
But, they said, if the companies are going to develop from their surface, they want to be consulted in advance.
