Tundra opens for authorized summer travel
The Alaska Division of Mining, Land and Water said July 18 that it has opened North Slope tundra to authorized off-road travel by summer-approved off-road vehicles.
The division said the opening applies only to operators with valid off-road vehicle travel permits for state-owned North Slope lands.....
